Answer the question! (Clean Version)

You’re so round about, evasive, secretive and cryptic

Unforthcoming, tight lipped and indirect

Wouldn’t it be so kind of you to act with some comprehension?

 And do me a simple favor by answering the question.

It is not a game, it’s not a riddle, why are you being so enigmatic?

Instead of an answer, you are choosing to be dramatic

I know this is not a pop quiz or college examination

So explain to me why can’t you answer the question?

Do you want me to guess and spell, assume and infer

Accuse you according to whatever my thoughts conjure

Become paranoid and jump to conclusions

Because I won’t have to if you just answer my question.

Are you hiding dirty deeds, are you making a statement?

Are you trying to protect my feelings or are you being indifferent

To my need to have clarity and to eliminate my confusion

And address at least one little question.

Just answer it! Just answer it! Just answer it please!

No lies, no half-truths, do not taunt me or tease!

Your honest response is imperative for my illumination

So won’t you just answer the question?

Anxieties, distrust and uncertainties is what you have bred

With your silence on the topic you have successfully misled

My thoughts and opinions and created all this unwarranted tension

Because of your decision to not answer my question.
